Space to innovate and delight.

There is not always room to break barriers and start gaining a foothold in the Restaurant industry. 

The eternal trilemma between honoring tradition, wanting to be at the European gastronomic frontier, or trying to combine innovation with tradition.

Here comes the “from Start to Table” from the Lisbon incubator Startup Lisboa, a program that seeks to boost the sector through a focus on customer experience, new restaurant concepts, and even technological elements aimed at introducing improvements in the front and back-house, as well as in community engagement.

Each of the three winners will receive ten thousand euros.

Applications are open until September 15 and can be made on the official program website.

Each project will be evaluated by a jury, which includes members of Startup Lisboa and industry experts. At the end of the first evaluation phase, 25 projects will be selected for the prototyping and product or service validation phase. During this time, they will have contact with an ecosystem composed of industry specialists and investors. Participants will work, on average, three days a week, on a full-time basis. 

In the end, three winners will be chosen, to whom the prize will be awarded.

We are very pleased to learn about this program, as in the restaurant sector, as in many others, the challenge of a constantly changing consumer and the emergence of new trends determine the next steps in this industry. Therefore, instead of following the market direction, here is a chance to forge a new path.
